"If a thought lingers in my mind for long enough, chances are I'm going to write about it".

Hi there! My name is Fiona Cooney. I'm from Ireland originally but I grew up in Australia. I'm a writer, & presenter with a passion for human interest stories.

So far I've contributed pieces to The Irish Examiner, The Irish Times, and several of DMG media's websites. I was lucky enough to appear on Ryan Tuburdy's RTE radio show to discuss one of my articles. Links to my published material can be accessed here.

I'm also an experienced broadcaster. I've worked in both local and national radio as a journalist. As well as delivering news bulletins, I've created several packages for the likes of Newstalk and Radio Kerry. Samples of my on-air material are available to listen to here.

My aim is to create content that is both inspiring and entertaining. If I can challenge a few perceptions along the way-well then that's even better.

Yours Faithfully,
