"If a thought lingers in my mind for long enough, chances are I'm going to write about it".

Hi there! My name is Fiona Cooney. I'm from Ireland originally but I grew up in Australia. I'm a writer, & presenter with a passion for human interest stories.

I've recently begun pursuing a career as a freelance journalist. So far I've contributed pieces to The Irish Examiner, The Irish Times, and the website Image ie. I was also lucky enough to appear on Ryan Tuburdy's RTE radio show to discuss one of my articles. Links to my published material can be accessed here: (click for links).

I'm an open book particularly when it comes to my writing. If a thought lingers in my mind for long enough, chances are I'll want to share it. So that's where this baby comes in.

I wanted a permanent home for my future scribblings. Here you'll find my take on life, love and everything in between. My aim is to create content that is both inspiring and entertaining. If I can challenge a few perceptions along the way-well then that's even better.

Yours Faithfully,
